| The day-to-day operations are led by Raymond McGaugh, the managing member of Kiwanja Capital Partners, LLC, the general partner of the Fund. Raymond is a licensed corporate and real estate attorney with over twenty-four years of experience. He possesses a NASD Series 7 license (General Securities Representative), a NASD Series 24 license (General Securities Principal), a NASD Series 27 license (Financial and Operations Principal) and a NASD Series 63 license (Uniform Securities Agent State Law). He has extensive experience in the areas of banking, community development entities, construction lending, corporate finance, municipal finance, private equity, real estate and real estate finance. Mr. McGaugh currently serves on several boards including and First Personal Bank, an Illinois state bank, where he serves on the audit committee, Genesis Engineering & Redevelopment, LLC, a firm specializing in the investigation, remediation, and redevelopment of environmentally impaired properties which is affiliated with the Fund, and the Chicago Community Loan Fund, where he is head of the New Business Development Committee. Mr. McGaugh obtained his Juris Doctorate from Creighton University in 1984, his Masters of Health Administration from Georgia State University’s School of Business in 1978 and his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Creighton University in 1976.
