Kiwanja specializes in the conversion of real estate liabilities into productive assets through the acquisition, remediation, and redevelopment of Brownfield properties through the United States. It is our objective to seek community and stakeholder acceptance on all our projects and include green building aspects in all phases of design. Through the selection of undervalued real estate and innovative remedial strategies, Kiwanja strives to return stranded properties to the productive tax rolls while ensuring that our project stakeholders participate and enjoy benefits from our developments.

Specific Objectives:

•The objectives of the Fund are to:
•Remediate Urban Brownfields to improve the community’s quality of life and economic vitality;
•Redevelop underutilized assets to a higher, better and sustainable use; and
•Create positive impact through extensive community involvement in the redevelopment process.

•The process of community involvement and investment will result in the injection of new economic vitality in affected communities by re-establishing property values of Brownfield sites and modifying a property’s use in concert with sustainable community development. By redeveloping abandoned, distressed properties in urban areas, which are unquestionably undervalued, the Fund believes that it will capture that unrealized value during the remediation and redevelopment process. That unrealized value, once cleaned up and redeveloped, will translate into a significant economic impact for the affected communities by returning Brownfield sites to productive uses which, in turn, contributes to the sustainable growth.

• In conjunction with placing capital and generating returns for our investors, we provide solutions for sellers and the cities affected by their contaminated sites. Kiwanja is interested in structuring transactions which result in good outcomes for key parties involved in the transaction.  This approach is critical to bring fallow sites back into viable use.

•As no two projects are alike, Kiwanja evaluates each project independently and will establish a redevelopment and exit strategy that makes the most sense for all the stakeholders.
